Parts/Kit Overview

The Sea-Doo RXP 215 Supercharged Stage 1 Kit was developed and tested to increase overall performance in every area. The R&D Stage 1 Kit delivers a significant increase in handling and stability while boosting low and mid-range acceleration and adding a noticeable increase in top speed performance! Cavitation and RPM limiter problems have been eliminated with the addition of the Aquavein Intake Grate, which will add a higher degree of reliability. The R&D Stage 1 Kit is very easy to install and is available at a very reasonable price. Each part in the Stage 1 Kit can be used individually as a “stand alone” product. With the R&D Sea-Doo RXP 215 supercharged kit you can expect to receive a noticeable performance gain, with great reliability, and at a very reasonable cost. The R&D Sea-Doo RXP 215 Stage 1 Kits have been race tested in endurance competition to be the Offshore package to beat. Chris Fischetti aboard an R&D prepared RXP 215 with the Stage 1 Kit dominated Round 1, 2, and 3 of the Jet Jam Regional Nationals in May-June 2004. Chris also won the Inaugural Long Course Championship at the 2004 World Finals on an R&D prepared RXP with an R&D Stage 1 Performer Kit! The R&D RXP Stage 1 Kit is, and has proven to be the only kit you will ever need to rule over any competition, racing or recreationally.

  • The R&D RXP Aquavein Intake Grate will keep the Sea-Doo RXP 215’s pump loaded and hooked up to improve handling and top speed performance. Improved straight-line stability and smoother, tighter turning capabilities will be noticed instantly! Also, there is zero speed loss with the R&D Aquavein Grate. In fact, speed improvements on flat and rough water conditions have been noted.

  • The R&D RXP 215 2.5 degree Wedge Kit was developed to re-angle the exit nozzle to relieve the aggressive speed-robbing nose down ride! The 2.5 degree Wedge Kit improves overall handling and promotes a much drier ride by reducing annoying bow spray. Top speed performance will be improved as much as 1 mph. The RXP Wedge Kit comes complete with a necessary billet aluminum adjustable VTS push rod arm and cable extender.

  • The R&D “Supercharger” Filter Kit was designed and developed exclusively for the new Sea-Doo RXP 215 supercharged model. The R&D Filter Kit will unleash restricted low end and mid range horsepower trapped in the O.E.M. air filtration system and intake ducting. The new filter kit will sound good, look great, and will add up to 100 plus peak RPM’s to the tachometer reading, which will add to top speed performance. Dyno testing confirms up to a 5 hp increase in peak horsepower. The R&D Power Plenum Kit will add low-end power and acceleration you’re guaranteed to feel!

  • The R&D Solas 14/19 Concord Impeller was specifically designed for Sea-Doo’s new 215 H.P. engine package, and will deliver a noticeable improvement in top speed performance over the O.E.M. Impeller! The 14/19 Concord Impeller and R&D RXP Aquavein Grate and Girdle Kit combination have been race proven by Chris Fischetti dominating in Offshore competition!   • The new R&D RXP 215 Pro Series Sponson Kits main feature includes an ultra strong cast aluminum CNC machined backing plate, which is far superior over plastic backing plates with furniture inserts for threads! The R&D Sponson Kit offers 2-position sponson blade adjustability, which will guarantee this kit to out perform any other 1 up, 2 up, or 3 up!   • The R&D RXP 215 Pro Series Steering Nozzle was developed to replace the O.E.M. steering nozzles oval and stepped inner design shape with a race proven high performance round Venturi design. Improved acceleration, cornering, and top speed performance! The new R&D RXP 215 Nozzle also incorporates a cast in boss for the R&D Auto Trim Kit Option, Part #163-21500.

  • The R&D Crankcase Breather Kit will add a high performance look to the RXP’s engine compartment. The R&D Crankcase Breather Kit eliminates power-robbing crankcase fumes from the engines main air intake. Cleaner mass air equals more power!

  • The R&D RXP 215 Anti-Cavitation Pump Cone Kit is an inexpensive and creative bolt on part that adds extended length over the O.E.M. plastic pump cones length, which will reduce cavitation while adding additional pump thrust. Spacing the pump cones length will add to top speed while keeping the engine rpm’s stable and out of the rev limiter! Precision cast aluminum, CNC machined, and o-ring sealed for leak free pump bearing protection.

  • The R&D RXP 215 Super Impeller Nose Cone was developed to replace the O.E.M. rubber impeller cone known to break, tear, or come unscrewed causing low speed impeller cavitation and top speed losses, with a shorter, stronger, higher performing design. Replace the O.E.M. rubber cone, or the long Solas cone with a shorter, stronger, higher performing billet aluminum design. The R&D Super Impeller Cone will promote overall impeller/pump performance and reliability.

  • The R&D RXP 215 Auto Trim Kit was developed to override the O.E.M. VTS System with a fully adjustable and fully automatic trim system! The R&D Auto Trim automatically drops a rider preferred adjustable 2-8 degrees. Drive from turn to turn never worrying whether the trim is in the best position for perfect turn negotiation. The R&D Auto Trim allows you to set the trim up your way to carve perfect turn every time! For long straight rides install the R&D VTS/Holeshot Driver Rod, which works in conjunction with the R&D Auto Trim to electronically override the Auto Trim back to the O.E.M. VTS Nozzle angle trim settings. The combination allows the best of both worlds for recreational and closed course riding.

NOTE: For extreme rough water or offshore racing conditions where the engine rpm’s are desired to be run lower to stay farther away from the O.E.M. rev limiter setting, R&D recommends the installation of the longer R&D Pump Cone Spacer Kit offered, which will keep the engine rpm’s at approximately 7900-7950, and peak speeds at approximately 72-73 mph. The longer of the two pump cone spacer kits offered by R&D is Part #163-95350.

NOTE: The Sea-Doo RXP 215 Supercharged Performer Kit development, tachometer, and top speed information posted was gathered after an initial 5-mile warm-up to stabilize engine temperatures. All testing was performed exclusively with Chevron 91 octane pump gasoline at 500 feet above sea level. Ambient air temperature during testing in May was between 90 and 110 degrees. These test results may change as we continue to gather data, and monitor O.E.M. stock boat speed averages, and production impeller consistencies. The information posted in the R&D Performer Kit are averages. In many cases we hear of feedback from Sea-Doo owners with performer kit packages reporting of higher speeds than posted.
